What is Mortaring an AR15? It’s a technique people use to unjam their AR15 when they have their bolt jammed shut and can’t unjam their rifle by pulling back on the charging handle because a bullet cartridge is most likely stuck in the chamber and it won’t allow the bolt to twist and unlock itself. But don’t worry this is something everyone should learn and know before using their AR15.

The method is to pull on the charging handle as hard as you can, and at the same time, slam the butt on the ground as hard as you can.
